Template:Promo video

From Animal Crossing Wiki
Jump to navigationJump to search
This video is promotional video content for a copyrighted video game.
The copyright for it is most likely held by the company that produced the video or the company that developed the game. It is believed that the use of a limited number of promotional videos for commentary on the development and promotion of the video game in question qualifies as fair use under United States copyright law, as such display does not significantly impede the right of the copyright holder to sell the copyrighted material, is not being used to turn a profit in this context, and presents ideas that cannot be exhibited otherwise. See Copyrights and fair use rationale.

This template is used on file pages in which the video is a commercial, trailer, or other promotional content for a copyrighted video game. This template is used by placing the following code in the file's description:

{{Promo video}}

If a source is available, it can be mentioned in the template by placing the following code in the file's description, along with replacing "SOURCE" with the source of the image:

{{Promo video|Source=SOURCE}}</noinclude
