Appearances
In Animal Crossing (GCN)
In Animal Crossing (GCN), the police station appears in a random acre. Copper stands outside the building and can tell the player about visitors to town, while Booker operates the lost and found inside. A map board also appears outside. In Dōbutsu no Mori and Dōbutsu no Mori+, the police station has a different sign above its entrance and a different poster on its side; there is also a sign next to the entrance that is not in Animal Crossing (GCN) or Dōbutsu no Mori e+.
Copper occasionally mentions Bust Illegal Parkers (B.I.P.), a campaign held by the police station to enforce parking laws, which are violated by Gracie when she visits town with her car.
On Officer's Day, Tortimer gives the player the police model,Template:Note a miniature furniture model of the police station, and tells them that he built the police station and opened it on that day.
In Animal Crossing: New Leaf
In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, the police station is a public works project that can be suggested by any villager. It costs 264,000 Bells and can be built in one of two styles: the classic police station, a square wooden building; or the modern police station, a circular metal building like in Animal Crossing (GCN). Booker operates the classic police station while Copper operates the modern police station.
In Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival
