Sprocket (ヘルツ, Herutsu) is a jock ostrich villager in the Animal Crossing series. His name is a reference to a type of machine part. He is one of the few villagers that is technically not an animal, along with Ribbot, Del and Stitches.
Before his appearance in the data for Happy Home Designer, Sprocket was exclusive to the GameCube games.
He has the music hobby.
Appearance
Sprocket has a mechanical exterior, with a green head, gray body, and an orange beak and legs. He barely looks like a normal ostrich as he is mostly a robot, but he has a few thin, green feathers on the back of his head. These may be wires. He wears a No. 67 Shirt. He has a robot head, like Ribbot, which in Animal Crossing: New Horizons has an orange "04" printed on the back.
In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, his body has a metallic texture, reflecting light, and occasionally makes mechanical sounds when moving. This is the same as the other robotic villagers, Del and Ribbot.
House
His house contains many items from the Robot Series, which connects to his appearance. If Sprocket is given a stereo, it will play K.K. Technopop.
In New Horizons, he has a DJ's Turntable that plays K.K. Metal.
