Sprocket (ヘルツ, Herutsu) is an ostrich who was at first exclusive to in the original GCN games, but has since been found in the data for Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer. He is a jock villager, meaning he has an interest in physical fitness and sports which makes him appear competitive and stereotypically slow-witted. His name is a reference to a type of machine part. He is one of the few villagers that is technically not an animal, along with Ribbot and Stitches.
